Sometimes when you reinstall or update a Frost modpack through the Modrinth App, it creates a brand new profile folder instead of updating your old one in place — you'll notice this because your old instance is still there, and a second one with a number after its name shows up next to it. Your keybinds, mod settings, and video options live inside the old instance's folder and won't move over automatically. Here's how to bring them across.
You need two folders open side by side: your old instance (with your settings) and your new one (the empty copy). There are two ways to get to either of them.
In your Library, find the instance, click the ⋯ (three dots) next to it, and choose Open Modpack Folder. Do this once for the old instance and once for the new one — no typing required.
Press Win + R, paste the path below, and press Enter. Both instances live here as separate folders — the old one keeps its plain name, the new one has a number after it, e.g. FrostClient 1.21.11 - Lite (2).
Inside the old instance's folder, select the config folder and the options.txt file, then copy them (Ctrl+C).
Open the new instance's folder (the one with the number) and paste (Ctrl+V). If Windows asks about replacing the existing config folder or options.txt, confirm the replace/merge.
Your keybinds, mod configs, and video/sound settings should now match your old setup exactly.
